Umpire Program About UsThe purpose of Indiana Amateur Softball
Association, Inc. (Indiana ASA) is to foster, develop, promote and regulate
amateur softball; to provide proper safeguards in accordance with the spirit of
true sportsmanship; to encourage the unification of all amateur softball teams
to advance the cause of amateur softball; and to promote annual amateur softball
championships in the State of Indiana. Indiana ASA, Inc. is an Indiana
not-for-profit corporation, and is chartered by the Secretary of State of the
State of Indiana. Indiana ASA is also a state association of the Amateur
Softball Association of America which is headquartered in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Mr. Wayne L. Myers was appointed Indiana
ASA State Commissioner on December 6, 1976. Since that time Indiana ASA has
grown to become the third largest team registering association in the United
States!
